Innovation Credit Union takes pride in the communities we serve. That is why we're pleased to put on events throughout the year to show you how much we appreciate your patronage. Here are a few major events our staff group assisted with in 2011-2012.

June 17	Innovation Credit Union and the Saskatchewan Western Development Museum (WDM) in North Battleford were pleased to present Family Day on June 15th at the WDM, 10am to 4pm, rain or shine. Click here for details.

June 17	We are proud to host a hotdog sale at the 2nd Street Solstice in Glaslyn on June 21st. Join us from 4pm to 8pm, with all proceeds from the sale going towards the Glaslyn & District First Responders. Enter your name to win a door prize. Fat Cat will also be in attendance!

June 17	It is the community of Sceptre's 100th anniversary celebration June 21st and 22nd and Innovation is proud to sponsor an anniversary luncheon. Join us for hotdogs and cake, June 22nd beside the Sceptre Recreation Hall after the parade.

June 3	We were pleased to present our 32nd annual *Picnic inn* the Park** on June 2nd, 1pm to 5pm at Riverside Park in Swift Current. Click here for all the details!

May 24	The official Credit Union CUplex Grand Opening took place on May 24th, 11:30am to 1:30pm in North Battleford. Attendees enjoyed speeches, a ribbon cutting, and a BBQ & cake. Thanks to all who could attend. April 29	Renovations are now complete! We were thrilled to host our Cut Knife Branch’s Grand Re-Opening celebration on Friday, April 26th. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony – 1:30pm Coffee and treats – 1:30pm to 3:30pm Our newly renovated branch features: An updated environment for staff and members alike A new member Kiosk Additional office space and A new member digital screen that will increase the overall member experience.

Mar 27	We were pleased to host our Annual Meeting and Informational Meetings on March 25th and 26th. Click here for exciting details from the meetings. Thank you to guest speaker, Paul Martin, who attended all meetings.

Feb 27	Congratulations to the grand prize winner at our Family Skate and Curling event, winning a night's stay at the Home Inn and Suites in Swift Current and a $50 restaurant gift card, Lisa Froude!

Feb 19	Innovation Credit Union and the Pioneer Co-op were proud to host Family Skate & Curling on Sunday February 17, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Credit Union iPlex, inviting families to skate and curl at no cost. Attendees could also enjoy a hotdog, chips and a drink for a $3.00 donation with the proceeds going to the Swift Current and District Drug Task Force. The event raised $277.00 PLUS Innovation Credit Union and the
	Pioneer Co-op also donated $500.00 each making the total proceeds $1,277! Feb 1	Innovation Credit Union and Farm Credit Canada are pleased to sponsor a Grain and Oilseed Market Seminar at the Western Development Museum in North Battlefords on Wednesday, February 13th. Click here for details!

Dec 21	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to offer some Christmas spirit at our Swift Current and North Battleford branches again this holiday season with Innovation iCarols. Click here for details.

Dec 5	Congratulations to everyone who was honored with a Swifty this year! We were thrilled to be recognized for Best Community Event (Picnic in the Park). Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote.

Nov 5	Innovative Financial Strategies, the wealth and planning area of Innovation Credit Union, was pleased to host two Retirement Income Options presentations by Daryl Diamond. Click here for details.

Oct 23	Credit Union Day and Co-op Week provide us with the opportunity to celebrate our co-operative principles, connect with members and thank you for choosing Innovation Credit Union as your financial institution. This year was particularly special since we are also celebrating the International Year of Co-operatives. Click here to learn more about Credit Union Day and Co-op Week festivities.

Oct 5	Our Lancer Branch was proud to host a complimentary luncheon to kick-off the Lancer Chokecherry Festival. Attendees enjoyed complimentary chili and buns from 12pm - 1pm on October 5th. The Lancer Branch was closed for business over the lunch hour to accommodate the luncheon.

Sept 21	Renovations at our Battleford Branch are now complete and we were thrilled to host our Battleford Branch’s Grand Re-Opening on Friday, September 21st. Click here for details.

Aug 7	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to be a sponsor of the Town of Cabri's Centennial celebration that took place August 4 and 5. We also hosted a smokie on a bun luncheon as part of the Centennial on August 3 free of charge.

June 28	Innovation Credit union and Magic 97.1 were pleased to co-sponsor the iGiddy-Up Pancake Breakfast at our Swift Current Branch on June 28th. For $2, attendees enjoyed pancakes, sausage and a drink with all proceeds going towards the Canadian Mental Health Association. We are pleased to have raised $1,111.11! Innovation will be rounding this donation to $1,500. Thank you to all those who could attend. June 4	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to present its 31st annual *Picnic inn* the Park! Click here** for details.

June 4	Innovation sponsored a Relay for Life Barbeque on June 1 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at our North Battleford Branch. Although we do not have a staff relay team in North Battleford this year, for the first time the Battlefords Boys and Girls Club will. What a great opportunity for a partnership! The BBQ was sponsored by Innovation and all proceeds raised will go to cancer research on behalf of the Boys and Girls Club.

May 28	Innovation Credit Union sponsored Team icare - Relay for Life Barbeque on May 23 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Innovation Credit Union's Swift Current Branch. Attendees could enjoy a hamburger, bag of chips, and a drink for $5.00 with proceeds going towards the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life. We are pleased to have raised $1,523.82 for a grand fundraising total of $6,832.00 so far. Thank you to our staff volunteers for making the event possible and to all attendees who supported such a worthwhile cause.

Mar 30	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to participate in the Dorintosh Winter Festival Parade.
