July 26	Innovation Credit Union is proud to be a sponsor of the ACT/UCT Provincials Opening Banquet Dinner in Swift Current on July 30th. The ACT/UCT Summer Swim Club is a competitive swim club with 70 swimmers ranging from 6-18 years of age.
July 26	Innovation Credit Union was proud to be the main sponsor of iSplash Day at the Riverside Park in Swift Current on July 23rd. It was part of the City of Swift Current's Summer Activities Program and included games, food, and an inflatable water slide.
July 20	As part of Territorial Days, Innovation Credit Union's Fat Cat will be competing in the Service Canada Mascot Challenge. Be sure to come and cheer him on at the Grand Stands at 1:30pm on August 18th.

July 19	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to sponsor the Cattlemen's and Cattlewomen's Golf Tournament on July 16th in Swift Current.
July 16	Innovation Credit Union was proud to be an Eagle Sponsor of the Sakicawisihk Pow-Wow held in North Battleford July 13th to15th. This Pow-Wow is one of the largest cultural celebrations in Saskatchewan attracting more than 4,000 spectators and participants. Pow-Wows bring families and friends together to celebrate First Nation's culture through a wide variety of song and dance styles.

July 12	Innovation Credit Union was proud to sponsor the Swift Current Cycling Club with the Innovation Credit Union Cycling Classic. The race took place on July 10th and 11th.
July 12	Innovation Credit Union was proud to sponsor Chataqua Theatre Festival at the Lyric Theatre in Swift Current July 8th to 11th. We sponsored "Legion Blues" which was performed on July 10th.
July 9	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to be the major corporate sponsor of the Cabri District Lions Field Day on July 8th in Cabri. The event included a field tour and keynote speaker Kevin Hursh.

July 6	Innovation Credit Union co-sponsored the iGiddy Up Pancake Breakfast with Magic 97.1 and the Swift Current Ag & Ex Association on June 30th at Innovation Credit Union's Swift Current Branch courtyard. We raised $725.20 at the breakfast for the Canadian Mental Health Association and Innovation Credit Union is donating $274.80 to make it an even $1,000.00. Thank you to all those who attended!
July 6	Innovation Credit Union was proud to once again play an active role in the 2010 Frontier Days in Swift Current, June 30th – July 3rd. Click here for details!
July 5	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to sponsor the Swift Current Cycling Club on their annual biking trip.

July 5	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to offer the south end of its parking lot to the Eliminators Car Club's Show 'n' Shine on Saturday, July 3rd from 2pm to 4pm to display their cars. Happy anniversary!
July 2	Innovation Credit Union is pleased to sponsor the Saskatchewan Abilities Summer Fun Program in Swift Current. This recreational program is for children and youth with disabilities within Swift Current and surrounding area.
June 28	The Swift Current & District Drug Task Force are working with the local Fire Department, EMS & RCMP in handing out positive tickets to our youth who are doing positive and safe things around the community. Youth who receive a positive ticket are entered in for a grand prize. Innovation Credit Union has donated a Dell® Netbook™ which they will be drawing for at the Annual Chris Wheeler Skate Competition during the August long weekend. June 28	Innovation Credit Union was proud to be the concession booth sponsor of the Village of Success Hall Fundraiser held on June 26th in Success. All proceeds from the community auction will go towards the Success community hall.
June 28	Innovation Credit Union was a proud sponsor of the Battlefords North Stars Golf Scramble on Saturday, June 26th.
June 25	Dickson Agencies, an Innovation Partner, sponsored the Ponteix Ambulance Golf Classic for the second year and have helped to raise over $6,000 to support the operation of the community ambulance. This is increase from last year's total of $4,200. Special thanks to everyone who helped putting together another successful event.
June 25	Innovation Credit Union was a sponsor of the United Way Golf Tournament in North Battleford on June 24th.
June 25	Innovation Credit Union sponsored Ladies' Night at Jackfish Lodge on June 24th.
June 21	Innovation Credit Union was a sponsor of the Father's Day Run held in Swift Current on June 19th.
June 21	Innovation Credit Union was proud to be a stage entertainment sponsor of the 6th annual Windscape Kite Festival held in Swift Current on June 19th and 20th. This free admission festival features beautiful, original handmade art kites, giant creature kites the size of houses, speeding kite buggies racing eighty kilometers an hour, screaming stunt kites flying in tandem, and a one hundred kite train soaring to the skies. The family stage entertainers delighted patrons of all ages with comedy, juggling, balloon art, yo-yos, and diabolos. We sponsored The Silly People.
June 17	Innovation Credit Union was a sponsor of the Ladies' Par 3 Tournament at the Chinook Golf Course in Swift Current on June 16th.
June 15	Innovation Credit Union was proud to be a hole sponsor as well as enter a team in the McCleary, Marleau and Moen Charity Golf Classic. The mission of the Trent McCleary - Patrick Marleau - Travis Moen Sports and Recreation Foundation is to ensure that young people between the ages 6 and 18, regardless of financial restraints, will be given the opportunity to develop their athletics skills to an elite level. The 11th Annual McCleary, Marleau, Moen Charity Golf Classic took place June 14th at Elmwood Golf Course in Swift Current.
June 11	Innovation Credit Union was proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the 8th Annual Battlefords Children's Festival which took place June 11th at the North Battleford Exhibition Park. June 9	The Wayne Pruden Memorial Golf Tournament is one of the major fundraising activities the Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation conducts on an annual basis. Community and volunteer support are vital to the success of this fundraising event. Innovation Credit Union has been the Master Sponsor of this event for a number of years and we were proud to once again commit to this wonderful cause. This year's tournament took place Monday, June 7th in North Battleford. June 1	Innovation Credit Union was a proud partnering sponsor of the Swift Current Business Excellence Awards held Friday, May 28th. We congratulate all nominees and winners for their tremendous accomplishments this past year.

May 25	Innovation Credit Union was a Silver Sponsor of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation/Telus Walk to cure Diabetes. The walk took place in Swift Current on May 22nd.
May 17	Innovation Credit Union is proud to be part of a Youth Outreach Initiative in the City of Swift Current. We will be donating $25,000 in 2010 and $25,000 in 2011 to assist with this exciting endevor. Click here to view a press release regarding the proposed centre.
May 7	Innovation Credit Union was a Silver Sponsor of the Maverick High School Coffeehouse & Art Auction that took place at the Lyric Theatre in Swift Current on May 6th.

May 5	Innovation Credit Union was awarded the Community Contribution Award at the Battlefords Business Excellence Awards gala held on May 4th in North Battleford. Thank you to all of our staff as this award is a great acknowledgement of all the hard work they do in our communities.
May 4	Innovation Credit Union was a proud sponsor of the Svoboda Dance Festival which took place April 30th and May 1st.
April 30	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to give a branch tour to Ashley Park Elementary School Grade Three students in Swift Current yesterday. The students were treated to a tour and treats following the presentation. April 26	The third annual Taste of Culture took place April 8-10 at the AgriPlex and AgriVilla at the Exhibition Grounds in North Battleford. Innovation Credit Union and SaskPower co-sponsored this wonderful event filled with food and crafts made by local cultural groups. Attendees were also treated to entertainment throughout the day!
April 26	Innovation Credit Union was pleased to be a major sponsor of the 25th annual AgriMex taking place at the AgriPlex and AgriVilla at the Exhibition Grounds in North Battleford from April 8-10. This home, farm, and trade show attracts attendees from all around the area.

March 22	Innovation Credit Union was proud to sponsor the Battlefords North Stars hockey game on Friday, March 19, 2010 where they took on the LaRonge Ice Wolves in the second round of playoffs. During the second intermission of the game we presented the Dash for Cash where four lucky fans competed for 20 seconds on the ice to grab as many poker chips as they could from the ice surface. March 15	Innovation Credit Union and Dickson Agencies were event sponsors for the Swift Current Art Gallery Coffee House - Campbell Tinning Coffeehouse Evening- on Saturday, March 13th. Attendees also enjoyed music by Anderson Burko.
March 15	The Swift Current Broncos and Innovation Credit Union Awards Night was held prior to faceoff at the Broncos final regular season home game against t he Moose Jaw Warriors on March 13th. The awards night, which has historically taken place in the Credit Union i-plex auditorium, was changed to take place on the ice prior to the Broncos and Warriors game. Congratulations to all of the deserving recipients.

March 3	Innovation Credit Union was proud to sponsor and have a trade booth at the WARC's annual Crop Opportunity and Scott Research Update. It was held at the Gold Ridge Centre in North Battleford on March 2nd.
March 2	Innovation Credit Union was proud to sponsor the newly formed Northern Lakes Economic Development Corporation when they held a meeting and workshop Monday, February 8th in the Medstead Hall in conjunction with the Medstead Business Association and the Medstead Economic Development Committee to discuss strategies to attract new business to the area.
February 25	Innovation Credit Union sponsored the Meadow Lake Stampeders hockey game on Saturday, January 30th. During the second intermission, three lucky winners participated in a Dash for Cash contest. Each contestant gathered as many chips, worth various cash amounts, as they could in 20 seconds. February 22	Between January 20 and February 22, the SJHL Credit Union Cup visited all the communities with a junior hockey team. On Wednesday, February 10, the Credit Union Cup was on display at Innovation Credit Union's North Battleford Branch so that staff and members had the opportunity to have a picture taken with the Cup. SJHL President Laury Ryan was also at the local arena in the evening to meet with SJHL staff, corporate sponsors and fans. Featured in the photo: Interim CEO, Susan Woods.
February 22	Innovation Credit Union was the major sponsor for the 2010 Field of Dreams Sports Dinner. The dinner featured guest speakers Gerry Cheevers of NHL fame, and Wes Cates of Saskatchewan Roughrider fame. The event took place on February 20 in Swift Current. February 5	Norbert Georget's Smart Youth Power Assembly™ is a powerful 60-75 minute presentation on teenage drinking & driving, substance abuse, and peer pressure. Every year for the past number of years, Innovation Credit Union has sponsored these power assembly presentations at schools in and surrounding our branch locations. We were proud to sponsor Norbert's presentation for Cabri (Abbey) School on February 4th.
January 26	Innovation Credit Union and the Swift Current Broncos asked you to Pack the Credit Union iPlex on January 23rd! January 18	Innovation Credit Union was proud to sponsor the "Dash for Cash" on January 15th when the Battlefords North Stars took on the Yorkton Terriers. Six contestants competed for 20 seconds to pick up poker chips, each with a different monetary value, spread over the ice surface that could be redeemed after the competition for cold, hard cash!
