2020 Christmas donation blitz
In lieu of corporate Christmas gifts, we chose to make a larger impact in the communities we serve.
Knowing Christmas can be a high-demand time for food banks, we wanted to help. We donated $35,000 to the following outstanding organizations bringing food to those in need:
- Swift Current Salvation Army,
- Battlefords District Food & Resource Centre,
- Meadow Lake Salvation Army Food Bank,
- Door of Hope Meadow Lake Food Bank,
- Regina & District Food Bank, and
- Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre.
$35,000 amounts to over 13,000 lbs. of food!

We also know how significant counselling services are in our communities, particularly during the pandemic. We therefore donated $32,000 to the following instrumental organizations to help their support efforts:
- CFS of the Battlefords
- Southwest Crisis Services
- Canadian Mental Health Association North Battleford Branch
- Canadian Mental Health Association Swift Current Branch
- Regina YMCA
- Regina Open Door Society
- Saskatoon Open Door Society
- OUT Saskatoon
- Battlefords Interval House Women’s Shelter
- The Lighthouse – North Battleford

Lastly, we rounded off the year with our generous staff donating $21,401 to the following charities:
- STARS Foundation Saskatchewan
- Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan
- Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation
Each pay period, they contribute to our staff charity fund and they choose the charities where their dollars will go.
