Innovation Federal Credit Union has been recognized on the Forbes list of the World’s Best Banks 2026. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista, the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The award list was announced on April 8, 2026, and can be viewed on the Forbes website.

The rapid growth of online and neo-banks has significantly reshaped the financial landscape, with many new players entering the market and gaining traction among customers. This development is also reflected in the World’s Best Banks 2026 ranking. The ranking recognizes the best banks in 34 countries based on an independent survey sample of more than 54,000 consumers. The ranking aims to showcase the banks across the world that provide guidance and transparency in the banking market and meet the needs of customers. All financial institutions (e.g., brick-and-mortar banks, online-only banks) offering a chequing and/or savings account were considered in the study.

Survey participants were asked to name all banks where they have or previously had a chequing or savings account. The participants evaluated the bank on several criteria: Trust, Terms & Conditions, Customer Service, Digital Services, and Financial Advice.

Based on the customer evaluations a score was calculated for each bank. In every country, the banks with the highest score in their respective countries were awarded. Innovation is ecstatic to be recognized on the Forbes list of World’s Best Banks 2026.
