Innovation Federal Credit Union’s ("Innovation") No Essay Scholarships are sponsored and administered by Innovation, PO Box 1090, Station Main, Swift Current, SK, S9H 3X3 (the “Scholarship”).
The Contest
The Scholarship is offered through a contest-based selection process (the “Contest”). By entering the Contest, applicants confirm that they have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Promotion Period
The Contest promotion period begins April 1st at 11:00 AM CST and ends on November 30th at 11:59 PM CST, and includes three (3) application periods (see below). Only applications received by the corresponding entry deadline, for each application period, will be accepted.

Eligibility
The Contest is open to individuals who are (i) currently enrolled fulltime in a degree, diploma, or certificate program at an accredited postsecondary educational institution, and (ii) legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec). Applicants must be at least the age of majority at the time of entry, or, if under the age of majority, must have the consent of a legal parent or guardian to submit an application.
No purchase is required to enter the Contest, and applicants are not required to hold an Innovation membership share or an Innovation bank account.
Employees of Innovation Federal Credit Union and Innovation Wealth, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate. “Immediate family members” include a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, dependent children of a dependent child (grandchildren), parents or stepparents, parents or stepparents of the employee’s spouse or common-law partners, or guardians.
How to Apply
Each eligible applicant, who completes the No Essay Scholarship Application and meets the Conditions of Entry, will be entered in the Contest.
Conditions of Entry
Each applicant must fully complete and submit a No Essay Scholarship application during the applicable Application Period and before the Corresponding Entry Deadline.
Applicants are limited to one (1) entry per Application Period. Entries do not carry over to future Application Periods. Any applicant who attempts to submit more than one entry – whether through multiple email addresses, phone numbers, or identities – will be disqualified.
To be eligible, applicants must have Instagram and/or Facebook accounts and follow Innovation on Instagram (@Innovationcu) or Facebook (Innovation Federal Credit Union) prior to the Corresponding Entry Deadline for each Application Period.
Innovation reserves the right to disqualify any applicant who (i) submits an incomplete or late application; (ii) does not meet the Conditions of Entry; (iii) tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Contest, or the Contest webpage, (iv) violates these Terms and Conditions; or (v) acts in a manner intended to abuse, threaten, or harass any person involved in the Contest.
Confirmation of submission, including any “thank you” or receipt message, does not constitute proof of entry, as determined by Innovation.
Privacy
By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the collection and of their personal information by Innovation, in accordance with “Collection and Use of Information” section of the No Essay Scholarship Application. Personal Information provided in connection with the Contest will be protected and managed in accordance with Innovation’s Protecting Your Privacy document.
Scholarships
Three (3) scholarships of $10,000 each are available to be awarded throughout 2026, with one (1) $10,000 scholarship awarded during each Application Period. The odds of receiving a scholarship depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Application Period and prior to the Corresponding Entry Deadline.
Scholarship funds will be awarded directly to the selected scholarship recipient and are not transferable. The funds are intended to support education-related expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, and housing. Innovation does not track, manage or oversee how scholarship funds are used.
Selection Process and Verification
Within thirty (30) days following each Entry Deadline, one (1) eligible entry will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received for the applicable Application Period. Only the selected entrant for the Application Period (the “Scholarship Recipient”) will be contacted. Scholarship Recipients will be notified by email.
To be confirmed as a Scholarship Recipient, the selected entrant must complete the following requirements within ten (10)business days of receiving notification from Innovation:
* A Confirmation of Enrolment letter is an official document issued by an accredited post-secondary educational institution confirming the recipient’s full-time enrolment status within the applicable Application Period. Letters of acceptance, proof of paid tuition, and transcripts will not be accepted.
** The Declaration and Publicity Release Form and the Recipient Form will be provided by Innovation via DocuSign. An access code required to complete the forms will be provided verbally by Innovation to only the Scholarship Winner.

Payment Disbursement
Scholarship funds will be disbursed to the Scholarship Recipient by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the account provided on the Direct Deposit Form. The timing of the scholarship payment will be determined at Innovation’s sole discretion.
Income Tax Form Issuance
Innovation will issue a T4A to each Scholarship Recipient for the tax yar in which the Scholarship is awarded. Recipients are solely responsible for any required tax reporting or declarations arising from receipt of the Scholarship, if applicable.
Innovation’s Rights
Innovation reserves the right to verify the truth and accuracy of any information or documentation provided in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, information submitted as part of the application and selection processes.
If, after the Scholarship funds have been disbursed, Innovation becomes aware that any information provided in connection with the Contest, including during the application or selection process, was inaccurate, untrue, or fraudulent, Innovation reserves the right to take all necessary steps to recover the Scholarship funds.
All decisions made by Innovation are final and binding, without right of appeal, in all matters relating to the Contest, including eligibility and the disqualification of entries.
Innovation reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate, suspend, or modify the Contest at any time, without notice or obligation, if any event or circumstances arises that may interfere with the proper conduct, administration, fairness, or security of the Contest.
Limitations of Liability
By participating in the Contest, applicants agree that Innovation, its affiliates and related entities, any third parties with whom Innovation has entered into an arrangement, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, as well as any other persons or entities associated with the Contest (collectively, the “Released Parties”), shall have no liability whatsoever for, and are released from any loss, damage, claim, or cause of action arising from or relating to participation in the Contest or the awarding, receipt, or use of the Scholarship, whether affecting persons or property.
Entrants waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Terms and Conditions. Without limiting the foregoing, the Released Parties are not responsible for any errors that may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, including, without limitation, errors related to Contest information or announcements, the Scholarship, the selection of a Scholarship Recipient, or the processes of entries, including but not limited to:
If any entry is determined by Innovation to have been erroneously deleted, lost, destroyed, or otherwise corrupted, the entrant’s sole remedy is to submit another entry in the Contest, provided the applicable Entry Deadline has not yet passed.
Publicity
By entering the contest, the Scholarship Recipient grants Innovation permission to use the personal information consented to be shared, in the Declaration and Publicity Release form, without further compensation, for purposes related to the Contest. This may include announcements on social media, Innovation’s website, and any other media channels that Innovation deems appropriate.
Promotion
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform or medium through which the Contest is promoted.
Governing Law
This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the applicable laws of Canada. By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees, to the extent permitted by law, that any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with the contest shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Province of Saskatchewan and in accordance with the laws of that province.
