There is a scheduled banking system update from Saturday, August 8th to Sunday, August 9th. Digital banking will be unavailable during this time.

  • Digital banking – Online banking and our mobile app will be unavailable.
  • ATM and POS transactions could be impacted.
  • Direct Deposits and scheduled payments/transfers will be delayed until after the update.
  • IVR telephone banking will be unavailable.

Please have extra cash or a credit card on hand just in case.

What services does the outage impact?

The following services are impacted:

  • online banking and mobile app (this will include bill payments and Interac e-Transfer® services),
  • ATMs and Point-of-Sale transactions (please be sure to have extra cash or a credit card on hand just in case),
  • Direct Deposits and scheduled payments/transfers will be delayed until after the update, and
  • IVR telephone banking.

Why are you doing this update?

These periodic updates modernize our banking system infrastructure to help serve you better!

Will my scheduled payments and transfers still go through during the outage?

Any payments and transfers won’t go through during the outage but will immediately following. Sorry for the delay!

What about loan payments that were scheduled to be made during the outage?

We will manually adjust your payments so that no extra accrued interest will be paid.

Will my Direct Deposits go through during the outage?

Any Direct Deposits won’t appear in your account during the outage but will immediately following. Sorry for the delay!

What if I make an online submission during the outage, like applying for a loan or account?

Any submissions during the outage will be processed immediately following. Sorry for the delay!

Will banking alerts be impacted during the outage?

They will. You won’t receive any banking alerts e.g. low balance alerts, during the banking system update duration.
