Since its inception in 2009, GoGreen has contributed to the planting of more than 4,800 trees and shrubs in our community!
About GoGreen
in Swift Current, SK
GoGreen is an annual event with a goal to beautify our community and minimize our carbon footprint. Projects include tree and shrub planting, landscaping, pathway clean-up, flower bed maintenance, and mulching.
GoGreen 2026 took place Friday, September 18th, in partnership with Stark & Marsh and the City of Swift Current.
Over 100 Volunteers Help Every Year
Join the GoGreen team! You can help with a variety of projects on a morning and/or afternoon crew. Volunteer shifts run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
You'll receive a complimentary BBQ lunch as a thank you!

GoGreen Community Lunch
Thank you for joining us at our BBQ lunch at Market Square from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM! Attendees enjoyed a burger, chips, and a drink for just $10. Lunch proceeds totalling $800 went to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Swift Current Branch.
A special thank you to Diamond Energy for once again bringing their crew out to support this great cause!
