Jan 13 Participating Innovation staff members contribute money to various charities each pay period. We're thrilled to announce that their generosity in 2019, in addition to a $13,049 donation to the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital, resulted in a $2,924 donation to Telemiracle, a $3,149 donation to KidSport Saskatchewan, and $3,374 donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. We thank our tremendous team for their kindness.
Jan 10 UPDATE regarding 2019 chip cards
We were made aware that some 2019 chip cards are resulting in declines at specific Point of Sale (POS) terminals. This is not only Innovation cards but ANY 2019 chip card you may have.

This issue is with merchant POS terminals that require an update.

Reminders:
  • There’s no need to re-pin your card or order a new one.
  • We recommend having cash on hand just in case.
  • Use the tap feature on your card when possible.
If you're a merchant who receives unexpected card declines on your POS terminal, contact your Merchant Network Service Provider to update your software.

Jan 6 UPDATE regarding 2019 chip cards
Recently issued debit cards may be declined at Verifone point of sale terminals. Verifone has identified the problem and we are awaiting a resolution. Innovation debits cards will continue to function as expected at ATMs and other vendor merchant terminals.
